The PetMetrics PB-200 is a smart pet bed integrated with a weighing scale. It works seamlessly with the PetMetrics Smart Tag to automatically identify pets. Designed as a resting bed, it doubles as a daily weight tracker. Each Smart Tag is embedded with a unique pet ID, allowing the PB-200 to detect the pet when the tag is within 0.5 meters (approximately 18 inches). The bed communicates with the Smart Tag, retrieves recent activity data, and uploads it to the PetMetrics cloud for analysis. When a pet uses the bed, its weight is recorded and synced to the cloud along with a timestamp. The system’s AI adjusts for extra objects, like toys, ensuring accurate weight and activity reporting. Pet owners can access analyzed insights via the PetMetrics App.
